RE: Intersections

When we enter an intersection, for example, MAIN ST & FIRST AV. When the address geo verifies it hits on MAIN ST & FIRST AV. However, when you use FIRST AV & MAIN ST, when the location geo verifies, I have to pick MAIN ST & FIRST AV. Is this the same for every agency? To me this is an officer safety issue during traffic stops. This might be a non issue or a minor annoyance, but when an officer is in trouble, I think most officers will be looking on the primary street (the first street listed). Or, looking for the crash on the wrong steet.

If this is unique to my agency, then maybe we did something wrong when setting up our geo data base.
